The company of Broker & Charter srl is holder of a concession in the area of the Porto Piccolo of Siracusa between the quay named Gallo and the Lakkios Yacht Club. The island of Ortigia consists of two harbours: a little one that directly faces the open sea (in Greek named Lakkios, known as Porto Piccolo), and a big one (known as Porto Grande) facing westwards.

Today the geomorphologic condition has changed due to two different and opposite phenomena: the first one is the result of the accumulating of detritus inside the Porto Grande, and the second one is the cancellation of Ancient Lakkios by the forces of the sea.
